The Canorgraphy machine makes it possible to visualize rhythms, music or recorded sounds. On a special location or in the studio, the machine converts the sound waves into patterns on textile or paper.

Speakers set a membrane in motion. The sound that enters the machine, is converted analogue into a pattern because it causes a pen, attached to the machine with wire, to dance on the fabric or paper. The resulting pattern is a combination of rhythm, vibrations and gravity.
